ABOUT RVA CLAY
The mission of RVA Clay is to promote the appreciation of, and participation in, ceramic arts through studio tours, gatherings, and public outreach and to enhance the cultural and economic health of the region.
Building community through the ceramic art, RVA Clay continues to be a leading source of information, education, inspiration, and energy for clay artists and patrons.
As of September 2025, RVA Clay is chartered as a non-profit corporation under and by non-profit virtue of the laws of the State of Virginia, as contained in the General Statutes of Virginia (Nonprofit Corporation Act), with 501(c)(3) status pending with the Federal government.

To increase public awareness and access to the diverse array of clay artisans, studios and galleries in the area

To create a strong and supportive community through gatherings, posting events, promoting each other's works, hosting workshops
